What mobile tyre fitting actually means
A fully equipped van comes to wherever the car is. The old tyre comes off, the new one goes on and is balanced, the valve is replaced, and the wheel goes back on torqued to the manufacturer’s setting. The old tyre is taken away and disposed of properly. A single tyre usually takes about twenty minutes once we are with you; a full set of four is normally under an hour.
It is the same job a tyre bay does, done on your driveway. The difference is that nobody has to drive on a damaged tyre to get there, and nobody loses half a morning.
Finding your tyre size
Your size is printed on the sidewall of the tyre you already have. It reads as three numbers and a letter — something like 195/65 R15. That is the width in millimetres, the profile as a percentage of the width, and the rim diameter in inches.

What it costs
Tyre prices are shown per tyre and include fitting, balancing, a new valve and disposal of the old one. There is a £45 call-out charge on top, confirmed before you book — never a surprise at the end. Payment is taken on site when the work is done, by card or cash. Nothing is taken when you book.
When mobile fitting is the right call
- A flat on the driveway. The car is not going anywhere and a spare will not get you far. We come to it.
- A tyre that has failed an MOT advisory. Book it for a day that suits and it is done while you are at work.
- Roadside. A blowout on the A35 or a rural lane is exactly what the van is for. See breakdown and recovery if the car needs more than a tyre.
- A whole set before winter. Booked in advance, on your drive, without giving up a Saturday.
- Fleet and work vans. Fitted where the vehicles are parked, out of hours if that keeps them earning.

Car, van and 4x4 tyres in the common sizes, from budget brands through mid-range names like Avon and Falken up to Michelin and Continental. If a size is unusual it can normally still be sourced — ask, and you will get a straight answer about whether it can be got and how long it will take.

Yes. If you have already bought tyres, they can be fitted at your address on the same call-out basis. Say so when you book so the right kit comes out.
